 christopher kane london fashion week - While completing his MA in fashion design at Central Saint Martins College, Christopher Kane realised his defining ambition was to start his own label in partnership with his elder sister, Tammy Kane. Christopher Kane, the label, started in 2006. It was begun almost immediately after Kane’s graduation, capitalising on the success of his award winning MA collection that had gathered much media attention. Christopher Kane is now widely acknowledged to have spearheaded a revival of British high fashion.
Driving the aesthetics, attitude, and spirit of the brand Christopher Kane has created collections that are immediately recognisable. While styles may routinely change, the Kane signature remains the same: a Christopher Kane collection is always distinctly identifiable as such.

In January 2013 Kering announced that they had purchased a 51 per cent share of the company. The purchase prompted a sea change in fashion, with other luxury goods conglomerates also starting to invest in designers’ own houses once more. The increased brand awareness in 2013 has resulted in strong growth across all product categories in the wholesale channel.

Christopher Kane’s collections are distributed in over 30 countries across more than 150 wholesale accounts. In February 2015 the brand opened its first flagship store in London, which is situated on Mount Street, Mayfair, with further plans to open 'shop in shops' with key retail partners.

The brand continues to develop all of its categories including Women's RTW, pre collections, Menswear, Leather goods, shoes & a full range of accessories.
